Funny Scottish Things

Concerto Katatonia

After a few years (5 I think) I can review Katatonia. The tour Viva Emptiness I liked very much, and proof of Renkse voice was pretty good, dispelling any myth that talking about the embarrassing performance limits. This time the weaknesses were evident, even if ultimately we can be satisfied. Arrival at Planet Rock
Pinarella shortly before the start of Swallow the Sun, Katatonia clones, but still interesting and a singer with a beautiful voice. A good starter. I stick with Katatonia
Forsaker and horror. Sounds terrible (Low non-existent voices too too high, battery with sounds like garbage cans) and especially Renkse that jars awkwardly, but really unlistenable. Retreated from the front rows to get closer to the mixer. Slightly more listenable but the feeling is always very negative. The first song ends, breathed a sigh of relief. From the second onwards Renkse regains the vocal cords and, without overdoing it, sings well for the rest of the concert. Any failure here and there, but overall his performance is convincing. Sounds better and the third to fourth song, the results are quite good. The band is compact and has a great shot, is a rock drummer, the result is good, despite some choir Nystrom to be limping. With the progress of the concert (an hour and a half) things improve more and more, and reach remarkable peaks in July as songs, Tonight's Music (absolutely tears), The Longest Year, Evidence. Finally, a good concert, with some notable peaks, too bad for the beginning really out of focus, both for the sounds that voice for the test (I repeat: embarrassing, glaring never felt so out of tune!). The new members of the group missed a shot and show the height, the songs of the new, unique, hard, are a kaleidoscope of emotions, and the energy released by the band for the duration of the concert is enthralling. Finally, a very good concert, though sometimes a bit variable.
