One of the best bands of the last 10 years was dissolved.
parties (like many) by the teaching of Neurosis, they have been able to draw a personal way, making the post hardcore muddy dirt and less edgy, more melodic, fluid, psychedelic. An exemplary career, marked by great records and no fall. Inside there are two wonderful discs (Oceanic and Panopticon), rightly taken as an example to many bands later, the wealth of ideas and the very high ability to create unique atmospheres and melodies without losing immediacy and impact. That kind of discs that I am not ashamed to define Art. Panopticon has opened my mind and remains today, six years after the first listen, one of my favorite albums ever. Hard to forget the three concerts I have ever witnessed, and have confirmed the value of a band that has had the courage to leave at the right time, and with great style without losing credibility.
